Crossfuze, a ServiceNow Elite Partner, today announced the end of its stewardship of the valued ServiceNow Guru website (SNGuru.com) after reaching an agreement with the website’s founder, Mark Stanger, to return ownership for the nominal price of $1. The terms of sale are representative of one of Crossfuze’s core principles: commitment to learning, growth and development of the ServiceNow community.
“Crossfuze has grown rapidly in the years since we acquired the website,” said Chris Howard, Crossfuze CEO. “As a result, we’ve prioritized serving our customers over updating the wealth of content at the pace needed to keep up with the evolution of the ServiceNow platform. While this was the right thing for our customers, we recognize the value that this content provides to the greater ServiceNow community, so this spurred some discussions with Mark about what should come next.”

Founded by Stanger in 2009, ServiceNow Guru quickly became a go-to resource for the ServiceNow community. The site hosted insightful blog posts and a vibrant forum in which community members could post questions, contribute to answers and share tips and techniques. While Stanger remained the prolific main voice of the site, other members of the community became contributors as well.
Crossfuze acquired ServiceNow Guru from Stanger in 2017 as part of the acquisition of his company. Understanding the important role the site filled in the community, Crossfuze engaged its own thought leaders to keep the content relevant and useful to the ServiceNow developer community, providing both support and incentives for team members to contribute.
